Angel's Halo

Her eyes are light brown, Sweet and soft spoken,
Tears pour to her cheeks, her heart so broken,
Far away from my arms has my angel gone,
As walls seperate us we both cry alone.

In the next room she grieves as I do for her,
Blind to our hearts, we both cry and suffer.
The gate that parts us is breathing no more,
My angel, my lover, is behind that locked door.

The top of the tower is evil and cold,
To see her halo again I must be bold,
A leap of faith in belief of love everlasting,
My life down this building am I now casting.

There's no glancing back as I do while I fall,
My back to the ground so I wont see it all,
Its a farewell for good, no use to pretend,
On a one way train theres no stop but the end.

My last wish in this world, before the next side,
Is that forever in joy will we both abide,
Truth be told it's easy to live, love and die,
For sooner or later we all say goodbye.

This poem is dedicated to someone very special to me. Some where out there there is a parallel universe where you and I can be happy, and there is a parallel future where we get married, and there is a parallel future where we gray with grace and love...
